We booked in for dinner and were provided with a warming, substantial home cooked meal and a Charming hostess. Good selection of wines. Lots of accommodation types available. Close to Richmond (walk or drive) and easy access to other areas. Beautiful scenery and lots of animals that any children would love. ”
”The accommodation we stayed in were converted stables. The rooms were well appointed, recently decorated and warm (we stayed in winter). The accommodation is annexed to the hotel. The hotel is the epitome of a country pub with traditional pub fair, eight ball and friendly locals in their seats at the bar. Not a refined experience but everything we were after, we were comfortable, fed well and welcomed.”
