”This was nothing like the photos and very disappointing. The room was moldy and dark. The safety latch on the door was broken and so was the lock. We put things in front of the door while we slept because it didn't feel safe there. There were several men wandering the property and we didn't know if they worked there or not. ”Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel, the rooms were beautifully decorated, this hotel is mostly for couples, if you are planning to go with friends I advise you to make sure there are double bed rooms available (this was my mistake, not theirs), the owners are amazing, very approachable and quick to respond, EXCELLENT customer service.”

”We loved this place. It was quiet, remote, which is what we love and had all the amenities we needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back! Beautiful place and island!”

”Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort including the pro shop at the golf course.
Room was exactly as pictured and expected ! Breakfast choices were plentiful. Beaches were spectacular , and for someone that has been coming down to STX for 30 years - among the best on the island. All of the restaurants were excellent and we ate at all of them. The Welcome Experience on Tuesday night and meeting the owner was refreshing and perfect. The Buccaneer is a must stay!”
