Majatalot – Richmond

”I loved the Turf hotel. We were late arriving but the young lady stayed on site until we arrived. That alone is worthy of a good review. The room was fine, a little run down but certainly not a problem. The bedding was fantastic, plenty of pillows and a lovely warm duvet. We were only there briefly, we left straight after breakfast (which was really nice). Everybody we spoke to was super happy & helpful. I think we'll be back in the area soon and the Turf will be my first phone call for...

”This was a great place to stay. Fantastic views of Richmond and the surrounding country side and the same time an easy walk into the centre. Very dog friendly and good dog walks from the doorstep. Bedrooms were big and everything very clean and in good condition. Food really well cooked. ”

”The owner was quite a character full of life and interesting to talk to,although we only stayed one night,based on that stay we would be happy to have stayed longer.the landlady’s cooking was very good and she to was very sociable”

”A great atmosphere at the Tan Hill, a good crowd was in on the night that we visited. The dinner was very good and the breakfast excellent. Our room was great with a good view out over the moors. If we're ever up that way we'll definitely stay again.”

”Very comfortable and quiet location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Cleanliness excellent only let down by stain on bathroom ceiling. Would not hesitate to return or recommend ”

”The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.”

”Lovely welcome from staff and good to have drinks in room. Everything as we wanted only one little thing of want feedback to make perfect the room smelt quite strongly of bleach. Probably don't need to use too much and better eco wide not to but when using need to air the room. Thanks for a lovely stay”
