”The grounds and rooms are simple and clean. Location is close shops and restaurants. You are able to access to staff when needed. The only comment I will make is that I wish there was a bench or something like it where the guests have a place their personal item in the bathroom.”

”My husband and I stayed at the Manchester View for 5 days while we were looking at houses. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and it was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and spacious we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend the Manchester View to anyone and if we ever have an overflow of relatives that come to visit, they will be staying at the Manchester View.”

”Stanford House was listed on Expedia as 9.0 Wonderful. I disagree. I saw photos that had rooms with white bed covers. I didn't expect something so different on a busy weekend in Manchester. However, even though the room was clean and seemed more recently painted, it was disappointing. I am not a dog owner, and the bed covers with large dog designs were shocking. There was no in- room coffee pot, no cups. There were many wires for TV, microwave ( very mini, less than a college microwave) mini...

”Nice little place to stay. Probably excellent in winter with the lift right next to it. Short drive into Manchester, and only 4 minutes from J.J. Hapgood general store where the breakfast sandwich and coffee were perfect.”

”I was turned away and they said they would cancel my reservation due to them not wanting to turn the heat on. If it is not reversed I’ll report them to the police, the local better business bureau and other consumer and law enforcement agencies. I’m former military and college professor of emergency management and homeland security, I’m not putting up with this negligence.”

”Wonderful find in Vermont. The staff provides what you need while maintaining a room for your privacy. Everything is in the vincinity with each access.”

”We visited during the summer on our road trip through New England. The town was completely dead. I can imagine it's wonderful in the winter but we were a bit disappointed. The hotel was very nice with good additional services. The spa seemed to be very small so during the peak season I would imagine it gets really growded. The staff was friendly and overall I'm happy with the place (+ we got the nigth at a bargain price). The breakfast was nothing to write home about.”
