Matkat – Rikon im Tösstal

Hotelli oli siisti ja tyylikäs. Aamupala monipuolinen. Lentokentältä ja lentokentälle pääsi kätevästi shuttle bussilla. Bussiterminaali oli helppo löytää lentoasemalta hotellilta saamiemme ohjeiden mukaan. Raitiovaunupysäkki oli lähellä ja raitiovaunulla pääsi ilman vaihtoja keskustaan noin puolessa tunnissa. Best staff ever! Especially Skye and the bar/grill crew w/ 24 hr access to food and drink. Full King size bed. Excellent location, walkable to so many attractions.

This is NOT by the lake despite the introduction saying so. 20 min walk to lake. Really cool and technical rool but really really small.

Not really a four star hotel, more of a three star apartment. We stayed in the fourth floor Living Design Loft. Plenty of space, but really hot with no AC and no possibility to keep windows open that much because heavy traffic and railway just outside the window. Room was little bit worn out and not cleaned properly (even on daily basis). Spider web on the bathroom roof etc. With little bit of paint and extra cleaning would be a lot better. On the positive note, staff was really friendly and helpful. Also public areas were nice and cosy with good terrace in front of the building. Location is good (except the railway) in the nice neighbourhood.

Quite a regular Ibis. Expensive for what it is... It was clean and bar was open 24h which was nice since I had to work very late. Didn't eat the breakfast so can't say anything about it. Rooms didn't have any "don't disturb" signs, which lead to the cleaning lady waking me up. Was a bit annoying. Also I found the receptionist on my way out quite rude. I checked out shortly before 12 o'clock, went to have a coffee next door (where you can also find a grocery store which is handy) and was on my way out from the parking around 12.30. The machine wouldn't let me out with the parking ticket, so I went back to the reception and the receptionist starts lecturing me how in "every" hotel the 1 day paid parking is only until 12.00... As I stay about 100 nights a year in hotels because of work, I know for a fact what she was saying is not true. It can be sometimes only until 12 but not always! Actually usually it is 24h from the time of entry, or they ask/tell until when you want/can park and this time nobody asked or said anything when I paid for the parking while checking in. As I tried to point this out to her, she would just keep talking louder on top of me and would not hear me out. I mean, who acts like that in as a receptionist?! Wouldn't stay here again. Pay 40-50 francs more and stay somewhere in Zug.
