”Consider this more of a rustic camping-like experience. Cabins have screens, but bugs still come in. Incredible location! Spider monkeys were swinging above our cabin every morning, holwers start up at day break, and capuchins befriended us at the beach. Scarlett macawas everywhere, we saw them constantly, as well as toucans. The beach immediately out front is wavy and rough, but my kids still jumped in the waves daily. The highlight is San Josecito beach, a 17 minute walk along the ocean....

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drake Bay Getaway Lodge. ”The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. ”

”The property is beautifully located on top of a hill with great view of the ocean. The food was very good too. The rooms on the edge are amazing. Unfortunately my friend had $400.00 taken from our room while we ate breakfast. Leaving money in your room is never a great idea but it is still very disappointing that the staff are not trustworthy. The basically told us it was our fault. Once this happened we were made to pay cash for everything because they were worried we wouldn't pay our bill....
