Kokemus jäi laihaksi.
Hotelli oli vanhanaikainen ja verrattain hieman epäsiisti. Sijainti oli kuitenkin hyvä. Aamupala ei ollut häävi eikä henkilökunta ystävällistä. Muutaman yön paikaksi kelvollinen, pidempää vierailua varten suosittelen muuta.

Careful with your money
Hotel was about what I was expecting. Negative surprises: -Most disappointed I was with the payment as I did realise it then: the receptionist first wrote me on a paper the sum I was supposed to pay in Reias. It was correct. Then he entered a sum in the card reader and when I was supposed to enter my PIN-code I checked the sum. The sum was now converted into Euros (my home currency) and it was around the correct sum, but I didn't remember it by heart at that moment. So I paid the sum showed in Euros. Later I noticed that the conversion was EXTREMELY BAD for me. I would have saved over 6% of the total hotel costs if the receptionist would have just charged my card in Reais instead of Euros!! When checking out I mentioned my disappointment while paying my minibar bill (1/4 of what I paid extra due to bad conversion) and asked if they could at least cut this minibar bill, but NO. Had to even pay my expensive minibar beers. -Pool is very small as I guessed but the water was also quite dirty. A film of something floating on top of the water. Positive surprises: -The breakfast was really good. -Good English skills -Wifi was good in other floors except the lobby

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and speak very good English and Spanish. Great location right across the street from Copacabana Beach and very short walk also to Ipanema Beach. There is a Bike Itaú dock right next to the hotel, easy access for those who want to rent bikes that way. Good continental breakfast. Pool area is small but why would you really use it when the beach is right there anyway.

O hotel é bastante conveniente para turistas e fica quase em frente ao Forte de Copacabana. As opções de alimentação, porém, são insatisfatórias. O café da manhã é excelente, mas não há serviço de quarto, nem qualquer outra opção de alimentação no próprio hotel (mas há várias opções próximas).

Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety. The room was also large and spacious. All in all, wonderful hotel and I hope I can stay there again!

From the warm welcome by Fabrizio Reis to the complimentary late departure, the staff couldnt have been nicer. The breakfast was super, the lounge area with its view and beach towels to use, we certainly got our monies worth. We were surprised the rooms were very small, but we were comfortable. If we get back to Rio, we will stay there again.

Had to take my own luggage to the front desk as no one was available to assist, had to wait for a bit as only one person at the front desk, was not offered a welcome drink and was told I would get a ticket later and never did, no offer to upgrade, pool very small, pool bar closes at 7 pm which is very early, beach across the hotel was dirty despite it being Copacabana. Would prefer to stay somewhere else in Rio next time.

The reception staff, housekeeper, and servers at breakfast were very customer focused, friendly, and welcoming. For an older building it is well maintained and has all amenities necessary to be comfortable. The location essentially at the juncture of two famous beaches is excellent.

Wonderful property with panoramic rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Nice breakfast is available for fee each morning. Very helpful staff. Walk across the street to the beach and also near restaurants and shopping. Great value.

Orla Hôtel Copacabana Review
Love the hotel. Loved the service. Staff was amazing and sooo helpful. Only thing is very small in space which was something that we are not used to. But they made efficient use of the space so beautifully. Plus just across from the beach is always a win in my book. Loved it. Thank you so much for taking good care of us.

Good service and location.
Hotel is in a fantastic location. Service is friendly and efficient. I think rooms booked through a third party are at a slightly more downgraded standard. They prefer a direct booking. Breakfast was a highlight. Air con in room 808 is very noisy and room is above the kitchens. No access to food in the hotel after breakfast.

Orla was incredibly safe, wonderful location with everything in walking distance to it. They give you a guide of tourist spots to check out and have been extremely helpful and professional duing my stay 10/10!

Orla and its staff are simply amazing. Our international flight landed in Rio early in the morning, so stopping at the hotel we figured we would have to wait until 3pm to check in. The staff found an empty room for us to temporarily stay in until our room was ready. I know that this probably was a unique situation but it shows how eager they are to serve you. Joseph the lobby bartender was very friendly and informative. He was able to give us suggestions and advice on destinations. Breakfast was a buffet of fruits, cheese, meat slices, eggs, bacon and multiple fresh squeezed juices. It is located sandwiched between two great neighborhoods making exploring easy. The room was cleaned daily, and the AC was able to get cooooold. Our favorite part of the room was the amazing shower head and water pressure, it was like being in a waterfall.

This hotel is nicely located in Copacabana but close to Arpoador and easy walk to Ipanema. The staff is great, welcoming and very helpfull. We had a problem with thanair conditioning unit and we were promptly moved and upgraded to a new room wich we greatly appreciated. The breakfast is great! Very clean but older furniture and and style

Fabulous location across the street from the Copacabana Beach and close to Copacabana Fort and a short walk to Ipanema Beach. The staff was excellent. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Fruit was plentiful. Especially loved the bowl of fresh fruit. Best I have seen at any hotel. Breakfast staff were attentive in greeting you at the entrance, handling out juice, pouring coffee and refilling the food. Other hotel staff were great too. The rooftop area had excellent views of the area. Highly recommend staying here.

We were only at Orla for our first night in Rio, but i would definitely recommend. It's clean, well located and the staff are very friendly. I would also suggest trying the buffet breakfast - it was great quality for the price!
