”Pieni majatalo, jonka alakerta toimii paikallisena pubina. Rakennus on vanha, ja se näkyy varustelutasossa. Ikkunoita ei pystynyt avaamaan eikä varsinaista ilmanvaihtoa ollut. Huone oli aika viileä ja sängyn peitto ei ollut ihan riittävän leveä kahdelle. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, keittiömestari kokkasi sen asiakkaan toiveiden mukaan (munia, pekonia, tai esim. full english... ym.)”

Aikaa nähnyt rakennus, pienet narinat ja kaltevat lattiat kuuluvat lähes kaikkiin vastaaviin hotelleihin, joten se on otettava ominaisuutena ei vikana.”

”Perfect location for exploring York with free parking included. The staff were lovely, with a warm welcome and farewell. The room was equipped with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, which we hadn't expected. The proximity of the room to the road, and being above the bar meant it was noisy, but we were prepared for that. ”The hotel was very clean and our bedroom was very comfortable. The only downside was that the hotel only had space for 5 cars. I understood WHEN WE BOOKED IT HAD ITS OWN CAR PARK.”

”Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. We will definitely return ”

”Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. Fresh juice and tea and coffee only downside you had to pay extra for a latte but not a big deal. Price was perfect as well. The village itself is beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Will be...

”The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

”Really good stay. Had an issue with the bathroom plug and was able to speak to someone straight away. Very hot in the apartment, especially the bathroom. Another fan or two would have been great. Only issue was in the parking area, very tight to get out the space when all spaces were being used. Walkable to everywhere if interest. Would recommend and stay again. ”
