”The Place was right of the highway a bit left off the road near the Sea World. It is lined up with Texas Limestone and lots of Mesquite trees and ligthing. Went drove into the Round a bout and called for the Concierge. He came to greet us very quickly and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. Place is full of wildlife running around and the rooms where very nice and comfortable. ”

We left our luggage in the rooms and went out to visit family in the area and when we returned, the one way road to the the hotel was closed for overnight construction work. ”You can't beat the Drury Inn. Their breakfast is great, their kickback meals are perfect if you are wanting to save on meals. The alcoholic beverages are high quality beers and yummy mixers. ”Stayed here as a honeymoon gift for my sister and brother-in-law, and overall they had a good experience. The location is a big plus — it’s very close to the River Walk, which made everything convenient and easy to access.
One thing to be aware of is parking. The hotel only offers valet, and it’s about $60 per night. That was a bit of an unexpected downside. If you want to avoid that cost, you’ll need to find parking at a nearby garage and walk.
