”This property was absolutely beautiful, but our stay would have been much improved if we felt like we were getting the extras, which you usually get with this kind of dollars paid. It was just little things like no boxes of Kleenex, not enough, garbage cans, no little bottles of body lotion. The little extras make a big difference.”

Unfortunately, Cedars Inn does not have a night front desk, and we did not receive any information about this from either Expedia or the hotel. We had to call and wait for someone to wake up and let us in. We are very grateful that someone was kind enough to get up in the middle of the night to accommodate us. However, it would be much easier for late-arriving guests if the hotel offered a simple keyless or self-check-in option,...

”This was such a unique property. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for our family of 4. The property is secluded in the forest yet located close to hiking/biking trails and beaches. Each evening we spent time in the pool and hot tub and the owners were very kind and informative. We would definitely recommend staying at this property to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast.”

”Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...
