”Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. ”

”You can only rate everything with the most stars. The hostess is something you couldn't ask for. It got dark quite early for this time of year. No problem at all; we returned around 4:00 pm, enjoyed a pot of tea in the living room, and felt right at home. The Christmas tree greeted us upon arrival. We felt completely at ease from beginning to end. It certainly won't be our last visit.”

”We found Mafeking a clean and nice cottage with a large kitchen and a lot of space. The snug is very cosy and a gem for bookreaders. The village Benenden is charming and has a great community shop. Defenitely a recommendation worth.”

”We had a fabulous holiday as a family for my son’s 30th birthday. The cottage was so cosy had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Beautiful walks right on our door step and my granddaughter loved seeing the sheep and cows on the farm.”

”Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need.
