”Perfect location. Central to the island. Room was cool ..clean and quiet even above a pub. Breakfast was lovely”

”The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Great food.”

”We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. Positives: - Room and the rest of the hotel were nicely decorated, and more modern style than most nearby hotels - Cleanliness was good and the room was serviced efficiently - Breakfast was very good quality and the standard was fairly consistent - Three EV chargers and lots of parking. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive...

”Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla korkealla kalliolla meren rannassa viehättävässä Shanklinin kylässä. Hotellista portaat suoraan alas rannalle, Shanklinin vanhan kylän puoli kivenheiton päässä. Merenpuoleisista huoneista on upea näköala.

”Really lovely place to stay, lots of nice features - honesty bar with QR code to pay, with range of products including Champagne, also similarly, drinks in room and snacks. Visually, very well designed, boutique experience. I booked late at night after cancelled ferry and was contacted by owner immediately with information re stay.”

”We love this place and the location. Highly recommend for a quiet re-charging yourself.”

”Clean and comfortable room , great location”

”Upea huone ja ihana ympäristö. Perhehuone oli todella tilava. Ainoa puute oli minibaarin ja ilmastoinin puute. Henkilökuntaa ei ollut paljon, mutta he olivat varsin avuliaita. Tulisin kuitenkin takaisin samaan majoitukseen vastakin.”

”After an initial minor disappointment with our room we were really pleased with the way the staff handled the situation. We got a new room as soon as possible and after that everything was just great. Wonderful service, beautiful room, tasty breakfast - all you could look forward to a great holiday. Thank you !”

”The hotel overall was excellent. On arrival was welcomed, given room and told when breakfast was served the next day. Room clean and in keeping with the history of the building (Grade 2). The breakfast was very good and all staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend.”

”A very nice weekend getaway. This hotel is well located, has very friendly staff and is well kept. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Also the pool is nice. The only minus was having our stay during a very hot weekend and having a room at the rear side of the hotel facing evening sun - no air conditioning… we still slept well!”

”Perfect location in Shanklin, wonderful views. It’s just a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine. The hotel is a little tired in places but overall it was very good. It’s great that you can use the facilities in the sister hotel next door so there’s plenty to enjoy.”

”The property is quite outdated but the staff were helpful and it was adequate for our one night stay.”

”The room its self was clean but very tired. It was very cold as the window/door lets in a draught (old building) but we were provided with a large blanket on arrival but the electric fire in the room was more for decoration rather than heat. The staff were happy to help with our requests for extra towels and coffee. It was a very unique experience.”

”Staff Heather was lovely. Thanks”
