”Family stay visiting the Jurassic coast region this cottage is a little way set back from the coast but in a quiet rural location .We visited Whitby , Robin Hood Bay and Scarborough . Cottage is clean and comfortable , with everything you need in kitchen . A very well maintained garden and lovely outlook over farmland . ”

”We thought from Expedia's website that we were getting self catering, with living room/kitchen as well as the bedroom and bathroom, but we got bedroom and bathroom only. Not the owner's fault, but Expedia. Accommodation was okay, but we have stayed in better for similar/lower price. General area was nice.”

”What a great find, lovely friendly pub with rooms. Room was spotless as the whole premises. Couldn't fault the evening meal or the breakfast ( probably the best we have had for some time. We will definitely revisit.”

”The hotel was clean and the room itself was large, which I appreciated. However, the furniture was very limited — just one small chair and a desk, with only a tiny bedside shelf. The room really needs at least a proper case stand or luggage rack to make it more practical for guests. I was also given one of the furthest rooms from reception despite the hotel clearly not being full, which felt unnecessary and inconvenient but often seems to be the case when booking through Expedia.”

”Lovely stay at the Station Inn Whitby, locations in the centre of the town. Rooms are spacious which is a bonus if you’re with your four legged friend, furthermore they’re clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. 100% would stay there again. ”

”The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the fact that the cafe attached was both delicious and had outdoor seating was absolutely incredible… The only downside to our stay is that there was a huge youth field trip. The kids were probably about 10-13 years old and were terribly loud, running up and down the stairs, screaming and yelling in the hallways and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. They let them basically do whatever they wanted like they had no control over them. It...

”Breakfast not included so cannot comment. Bar dinner night before excellent, wonderful beer selection with helpful staff offering free tasters to sample. Room was clean, bathroom clean. Special event on main floor really loud, but our room on 3rd floor well out of earshot.”

”The location was excellent! I love the room and the staff was fabulous except for the bartender and person in charge on evenings! He was rude and unaccommodating. He’s a type of person that ruins a perfect evaluation! Everything there was perfect except for him, and I recommend that the establishment replace him. I saw him being rude to others as well. ”
