”This was not a good stay. I walked into the bar and it was full of people swearing and shouting. I felt uncomfortable asking for my room booking. The hotel is damaged, carpet worn through, rooms were not clean, damaged furniture, stained pillows and duvet, shower was mouldy, there are signs saying if you eat your own food in the room you are fined and signs saying if you are caught with drugs you are thrown out. ”Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...
