”Eric was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was immaculately clean. The unit itself was very clean and high tech, with a great AC unit. The walk to the beautiful beach takes 3 minutes, but there's a ditch crossing along the way that might be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues.”

”This hotel was very unique and we are so glad that we opted for the oceanfront room. It was quiet (aside from the kids at the pool) and we saw monkeys, birds and iguanas right on the property. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”Beautiful landscaped grounds, made if feel like you were in a jungle resort. All kinds of creatures with howler monkeys in trees just off out balcony the highlight. Great breakfast and the staff were amazing. Great pool as well. 1 block from the beautiful beach with great walking along the ocean to Playa del Coco.”

”This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked.”

”We had a lovely time at Papagayo Golden Palms! We were lucky enough to stay there at a time where it wasn’t very busy, maybe 20-35 people total, so we had our pick of pool loungers, restaurant tables and so on! Pure magic! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, the landscaping, the pool and the beachfront is wonderful. The rooms are a little dated but the bed was super comfortable and it had everything we needed. The beach has a few rocks here and there, nothing too bad, but water shoes...

”To big area, moving difficult despite the shuttle. Entering to Hotel difficult. Although we had reservation number in mobile phone the guards hesitated to let us enter the Hotel area. In the reseptiin they asked us a printed copy of out reservation, nyt how could we have it because i had booked Hotel with mobile phone. They claimed that now they have more paper work. Toi bad, it's their job. Any way it would not have helped them, it was in Finnish. Food was good. The wibration of neighbour rooms...

”This place was spectacular. It was set in the middle of a forested area and surrounded by wildlife. Also easy access to all the sites in the area. Would highly recommend.”

”The area was amazing with a beautiful view. The hotel needs alot of updates. It advertised 2 restaurants, but only had one which was all buffet. We paid for a mini bar in our room. We only had it filled when we arrived and never again after that. We were told that it gets filled every other day, however that never happened. The drinks we did get we had to go ask for on our second day there. The staff was nice and the view was great. The hotel needs to add some restaurants. ”
