Very comfortable home conveniently located for traveling the North Coast. Beautiful views of the ocean. Quiet neighborhood and good working amenities, such as the TV and WiFi.

Family time

The house was exactly as advertised and the ocean views are amazing! The house has a great variety of amenities with the board games, lots of extra blankets, pancake syrup, Brita pitcher, etc. And the crow's nest is adorable! We had a really great, relaxing time. Thank you!

Overall a fine stay but the house is in need of some updating. Exposed wires near plug outlets near fireplace don’t seem safe especially when staying my with little kids. Fireplace does not draw and frequent blowdowns of smoke. Suggest cleaning of chimney is needed. View of ocean is nice but online pictures are a little deceiving, no direct access from house backyard. Overall, Rockaway town has very limited dining options too. Would stay at a different coastal town next time.

Great beach location

Overall we absolutely loved our stay at SeaFarer. Ocean views, access to the beach, fireplace and attached elevated seating area were real highlights for us. The weather prevented us from enjoying the outside area but it's great that it has a firepit and picnic table. The beds were very comfortable and we loved that it had two bathrooms. We found it a bit challenging that there really isn't kitchen counter space for cooking but we managed. Our only real complaint is that the living room furniture was not very comfortable at all. I would suggest replacing one, if not both of the sofas. We would definitely stay here again. Love the Rockaway Beach area.

Ocean comfort

We knew it would likely be stormy so we were grateful to find a place with a view so we could enjoy the ocean despite the weather. With the king tides and storm surges there were times when there was no sandy beach or the wind-driven sand was uncomfortable but we enjoyed those hours between beach walks inside this comfortable home watching the ocean, reading, and watching movies. It was a restful, refreshing stay and we appreciate you sharing this property.

Girls weekend was a success! We loved the location, cute older beach house that had everything you could think of needing… we loved the fireplace, fire pit and the “eagles nest!”Thanks for a great time! Definitely will stay here again someday!

Lovely visit with plenty of ocean

Our family enjoyed our stay. It's a comfortable house. The living room could use some updated furniture to make the comfort better. Our 14 yr old grandsons enjoyed the tower. We loved the ocean view, crashing waves and fire pit. The kitchen is tight but workable. Castles and mountains were built in the sand making memories complete. Note: the plush towels and wash cloths were slow to dry becoming sour. No communication with property manager.

Beach Haven

Waking up to the beautiful beach view and going to bed with the beautiful sunset was sensational. The deck, firepit, and sand area were perfect for all the family, We had everything we needed plus more! Would recommend this place and would love to come back every summer.

Overall the property was perfect, great ocean views. The posted property pictures were quite dated, but again, overall there was plenty of space for family and our labs. Did have some trouble with ants in the kitchen and dining area and could find no repellent. We plan to rebook next year diring the same period.

Perfect location right on the water. The house was nice for an older rental. It could use a little updating here and there, but everything seemed functional. Some areas get overlooked for cleaning- corners of rooms, the fireplace mantle was very dusty, etc, but overall it was a nice rental.

25th Anniversary

Spectacular views, sunsets and ocean waves! Beach access is very difficult (even at the Beach Access arena) but can access easily from the hotel that is not too far away. House is nothing fancy but very homey and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It isn’t fancy but it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The crows nest/book nook was the best! It was a stormy weekend but that made it all the better.

A shabby, dark, run down house.

What a dissapointment compared to the photos listed. This place needs way more than some TLC. Where do I begin? One sofa is threadbare and torn in places. The other is positioned to look onto the underside of the neighboring house. Some kind of rack is attached to the refrigerator with tape. There is virtually no lighting - a bare bulb above the kitchen counter, another lamp with so many chords hanging around it in a complete mess. The water filter jug in the frig came with a long hair hanging out of it. The blanket on the bed had stains on it. Honestly I didn't want to touch anything! Additionally, as in all Vacasa homes, the linens and towels smell so strong of scented laundry detergent it gives me a headache. But that might be to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke which is always lingering. I would've left early if I could have gotten some kind of refund. But no one responded to my email. I have pictures. Where can I post them?

Cute House on the Beach

This house is cozy and welcoming! Plus the back area is amazing. Though the lookout room may have been our favorite feature. Everyone thought the mattresses+pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. We felt at home during our stay and enjoyed our time here very much! Something to keep in mind is the windows don't open in the living area, and the patio door doesn't have a screen. We put our dog's crate in front to keep him in and have some airflow. It did get warm without having the door open. The early check-out time meant we spent most of the morning packing up then taking care of the required tasks. We would have loved to have a bit more time to enjoy the beach view.

Great location - Great property

Everything you need. Older place but kept up nice. This is our 2nd time staying here. Close to downtown Rockaway, 2 minutes. Quiet neighborhood.

Charming and unique.

If you want a true beach cabin, this is it. It's fun, comfortable, well stocked and a little rustic. The view is perfect and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck even when it was cool outside. We did have problem with the cable connection and called the number pro ided (Vacasa) twice for help on the 2nd day of our rental period but didn't get a response until 2 days after we checked out. There were also some sugar ants in the kitchen and 2nd bathroom.

Ocean view

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was rough, but the nice windows to the ocean were great. We loved the elevated sitting room. We used the outdoor fire ring twice, even with the rain. We brought our own firewood, but had to go to town to get a lighter. The photos seem to indicate direct access to the beach. But it is not so. Access is a few houses away, not far. But it is not an easy sandy path. It is harder for older knees. It was nice to have two bathrooms. There were plenty of towels, dishes, etc.
