The Space:

This upscale townhouse in Rockaway Beach is just a few steps from the beach, is dog-friendly, and has space for a large group of 10 people!



Located right next to the sand and easily walkable to a few restaurants and cafes in town, this house is a great place to take a beach-focused vacation spend exploring the coastline, building sandcastles, flying kites, and watching the majestic ocean. Within Rockaway Beach you will find eateries and small shops, and you could easily drive 20 minutes to Tillamook to visit its famous cheese factory and larger variety of shops and restaurants.



With two bedrooms (one has a king and a twin-over-twin bunk, and the second has a queen and a full-over-full bunk), a futon, and a sofabed, up to 10 guests will stay comfortably in this lovely home. You are welcome to bring your small and medium dogs with you (under 40 pounds, please), though a nightly fee does apply.



You and your guests will love sitting in the large living room, staring out at the ocean, gazing at the cozy wood fireplace, or watching cable TV or DVDs together. A full kitchen has all the tools you may need to cook up meals during your stay, which you can enjoy at the dining room table, breakfast bar, or even outside on the patio!



With Internet access and a laundry area, you will have all the comforts of home here. Head outside to the patio to find a gas grill and seating where you can relax and watch the sun set over the horizon, or strike up a game of Ping-Pong in the garage.



This comfortable home is a fantastic place to bring your family or friends to enjoy a beach getaway together. Rockaway Beach is not a large coastal town, but it has no shortage of charm. If you want to visit a larger coastal city, drive north about 45 minutes to reach Seaside, or south just 20 minutes to Tillamook.

The location was hands down amazing. Right in the middle of town, the ocean IS the back yard and walking distance from shops and restaurants. The house was spacious & beautiful! Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, circular bathtubs, games, puzzles and ping pong in the garage. The owner/managment were engaged but not overbearing and we will DEFINITELY book here again!!

We stayed in this rental ten years ago and loved it so much we always hoped to return. The views and beach access can’t be beat. This rental has stood the test of time, and while there are a lot of carpet stains from pets over the years, the trade off is that I got to have my little old dog with me for what might have been our last trip together. But seriously, the carpet could use some attention. Also, Lysol wipes or just some basic cleaning products would be helpful. I like to be extra careful when I stay in rentals, especially during cold/flu season. The more guests can keep it clean, the less work for the cleaning crew. Love this place though and would definitely stay again.

Great stay but…

It was a great stay, but our comforter and linens were dirty. :( The comforter smelled dirty and our linens had stains. Thank goodness for DG we went to purchase laundry detergent. The master bedroom definitely needs a new bed frame. The one it has is really squeaky and the mattress is lumpy, but overall the house has a beautiful view to the ocean. I still can’t figure out why there’s ALOT of stuffed animals in all rooms and living room. We will definitely visit again and hopefully the master bedroom has a more comfortable mattress.

Dog friendly and clean unit

We had a relaxing week, weather was gorgeous, seafood everywhere and at least once a day. We were disappointed the train operated on the weekends only and we were not there. We dis have to walk our dogs every few hours because there is no fenced dogfie rwlief yard.

Great to be on the beach but the house left something to be desired

Upon arrival it was very noticeable that the pictures in the listing were taken quite some time ago. The house is not as pictured, it is worn and appeared dingey. The floors were sticky and not totally clean, the baseboards and windowsills were disgusting and the house had a wierd not clean smell to it. I made the property manager aware and they got me in contact with the cleaning manager. When i discussed what i felt was unclean she informed me that those were deep cleaning items and that they were not scheduled to deep clean until the end of the month. While she offered to send someone back to the house there was no reason if she wouldnt be taking care of the deep cleaning issues. I was also informed that rhe owner specified what was being used to clean the floors and she said she would inform him that it leaves a tacky/sticky film. I dont believe that vacuuming baseboards and windowsills and washing doors or walls where there are obvious stains/messes should be a deep clean but if it is then i believe the owner should be getting those services. The location was what was the winner, it was amazing to be on the beach and be able to sit outside and listen and watch the waves. If the cleaning could be upgraded this would be an amazing stay. Well that and new mattresses or toppers or something. Beds were like sleeping on cement.

Gross and unsanitary carpet and incompetent and unresponsive local Vacasa management

When we first checked in I saw that the carpet on the stairs and upstairs was gross and covered with many animal excrement stains. I immediately contacted Vacasa and asked for someone to come and promptly clean the carpet.Despite promises to do it twice, they never came. I was there for a 10 day stay, so they had plenty of time. After a week when it was clear they would not be coming to clean the carpet I asked for a $50/day refund for having to pay full price to live with gross disgusting carpet including in the master bedroom. Once again, despite multiple promises that the Vacasa person would talk with local management and get back to me they never did. This was on top of the property not being cleaned and ready to move in on our day of arrival until 6 pm even when a 4 pm check in was promised. Plus, the unit is long in the tooth and needs multiple repairs and updating. Cleaning the thick dust off of the fake plants, the oven and the inside of the kitchen cabinets and getting rid of the innumerable old nik naks would also be good. As would having folding beach chairs. Since when do you rent a beach house without beach chairs etc. Sadly, this place could be great. The location is fantastic. And hanging out in the family/dining room with the ocean views is great. But the place is not healthy or comfortable to live in with the gross carpet. And Vacasa couldn’t manage their way out of a paper bag. I rent a lot of vacation rentals. This was my worst experience by far.

Beautiful home right on the beach!

We loved our stay in Rockaway Beach! The location is perfect - so great to be steps from the sand, and with incredible views from the back patio and primary bedroom. The home was very clean and comfortable. It was super helpful to be able to use the garage to store bikes and gear. Great restaurants, coffee shop, and market within walking distance. Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

Right in the middle of Rockaway

We've stayed a number of times at this house in Rockaway. It's right on the beach and in the middle of town. A great location and a very comfortable house with amazing views.

Great location!!

We could not have gotten a better location! We have rented homes up and down the Oregon coast ( this was the first condo) and we were very pleased! I would rate it among my favorites! The check in was flawless, property management kept in contact for updates, and quickly responded to any questions we had. We have a great experience ALL the way around!
