”Maid service unlocked our door to come in when we were sleeping. It was NOT check out day. I had to sit up and tell the lady that we were in the room. Dirty diapers and trash at pool. Same trash throughout our 3 days there. Staff not knowledgeable. Pillows are flat. Mold on trim beside tub. Faucet broken but still functional. Could see daylight with door closed due to an apparent break in at our room. Smells moldy/musty/old. Definitely needs major upgrades. Floors not bad but need refilled in...

”The security latch /lock on the door was missing half. The windows was a two piece held together with clear tape. The trim on the bottom of the wall was missing in places and fell off laying in the floor in other spots. They actually give you a plastic bag with your soap,wash cloth,towels and toilet paper. ( like am I in jail ?) And the ice machine is falling apart no scoop . Nothing in the room to get ice with. No ice bucket no cup nothing.”

”For a fresh remodel I think need to back in and redo it all. Gym needs a huge update and swimming pool handle to climb out was not secure. Charles was amazing person to talk too”

”Not a great visit. The cost was more than some of the other nicer hotels and air b&b’s that we stayed at on our family trip. There was left over hair in our tub drain from a previous stay or stays, who knows. Not to mention there was used gum stuck on the inside of the lamp shade. Also, the tub didn’t hardly drain. We stayed two nights, because that’s what we had booked. We let the front desk know about the issues the next morning, and we think they had someone come by to look at the drain while...

”If you are looking for surgical pristine and modern, then don’t stay here. HOWEVER if you want to experience and explore a living piece of history and if you can appreciate historical artifacts and architecture then THIS IS YOUR PLACE! The staircases are gorgeous. The lobby is breathtaking. They have performances on the lobby stage Thursday-Saturday nights and the lobby bar is open to serve you. Go lounge by the split level pool or relax in the hot tub!
