We reserved a room with 2 beds. When we got there at 6:30 pm, our room was not ready. When we got in, there was only one double bed. We were told there were no other rooms available, even though the parking lot wasn’t even half full. The security door on the side wouldn’t lock shut. The fire doors were propped open.
We were awoken at 11:30 pm by very loud screaming by a couple a few doors down. It continued for over half hour. When I went to call the front desk, the phone was not connected w any cord.
We were awoken again at 2 with 2 women in the hall, talking very loudly. The soundproofing in this establishment is very poor. You could hear the toilet flushing in the next room. The breakfast was not a breakfast but a coffee station. False advertising at best.
I will never advise anyone to stay at this establishment or any other MicroTel.
