I called the number to find out, Dennis wasn't there, and wasn't going to be there at all for our stay. ”Historical well seasoned hotel. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Great location to walk to anywhere in Manitou Springs. Excellent restaurant. Hotel was under renovation, which we were informed of prior to our stay. Unfortunately our room was right above the major remodeling project. Adding to our noise was our window air conditioning. Some rooms had central air, others did not. Street parking in Manitou Springs is expensive and limited. Glad to have the hotel off street parking garage. Not happy...

”My room was quiet and AC worked well. I could sort of see the mountains but "Mountain View" is a bit of a misnomer given the way the hotel is oriented. I was in room 211 and there was a crater in the mattress closest to the door-- it really needs to be replaced. I liked the fridge and microwave and coffee maker. I liked that there was a nice desk and a sitting chair. The water in the sink and shower never got very hot, but it was warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful and hotel was well...
