Aunt Hedwig - a cozy vacation apartment in Rodalben near the rocky hiking trail

The house is located on the outskirts of the small town of Rodalben.
Our vacation rental, “Tante Hedwig,” is on the upper floor of a two-family home and is also about 60 square meters in size. The sloping ceilings give it a particularly cozy atmosphere.

The forest, the train station, shops for daily necessities, and restaurants and cafés are all just a few minutes’ walk away.

We’re located on the western edge of the Palatinate Forest and right on the famous Felsenwanderweg hiking trail. Take advantage of the opportunities for hiking or biking in our beautiful “Pfälzerwald Nature Park,” which features many secluded trails and places to stop for refreshments.

The extensive network of trails in the “Pfälzerwald Mountain Bike Park” is sure to thrill any mountain biker or gravel bike rider.

The Palatinate Forest also offers road cyclists plenty of opportunities to explore the area on roads with little traffic.

If you’re interested, just let us know—we’re sure to have suggestions for tours with either little or plenty of elevation gain.

Bicycles can be stored in the lockable garage. There is also a charging station for e-bikes here.

Of course, your pet is also very welcome here. Bowls are provided; please bring your own blanket.

The house features a sunroom and a shared garden.
