The Space:

Quiet mountain air, tall trees, and long evenings set the tone as you arrive at this cozy cabin tucked into the hills of Romney, West Virginia. Indoors, the warmth of an open living space draws you in, while outside, the stillness of the surrounding woods makes it easy to slow down and settle into the rhythm of a true mountain stay.



The cabin

You have the entire cabin to yourself, with a multi-level layout designed for gathering and unwinding. A two-story living area with an open floor plan creates a comfortable place to relax after a day outdoors, whether you are streaming a movie, playing games, or simply enjoying the quiet. Heating and air conditioning keep the space comfortable year-round, and WiFi is available for streaming or video calls, with the understanding that service can occasionally be slower due to the remote setting.



Sleeping arrangements

Sleeping spaces are thoughtfully spread throughout the cabin to accommodate up to seven guests. One bedroom on the upper level features a king bed, while another bedroom on the main level offers two queen beds. The lower-level game room includes a twin day bed, making it a flexible option for kids or extra guests. A full bathroom serves the cabin.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is set up for cooking and sharing meals together, with space to prepare everything from simple breakfasts to hearty dinners after a day. A dining area nearby gives everyone room to gather for meals, board games, or relaxed evenings indoors.



Indoor entertainment

The lower-level game room is a favorite spot for guests of all ages, offering a place to unwind, play, and spend time together. Children’s books, toys, and board games add to the family-friendly feel.

The cabin is a short drive from the town of Romney, where you will find local shops and restaurants. Within an easy day trip are state parks, scenic railroads, rivers, and mountain destinations like Timberline Mountain and Canaan Valley Ski Resort, known for year-round outdoor recreation.



Good to know

This pet-friendly cabin welcomes dogs, though cats are not allowed. Quiet hours are observed per neighborhood guidelines, and the natural mountain setting means you may notice seasonal outdoor elements despite regular cleaning.

Note

In accordance with neighborhood HOA rules, quiet hours must be observed in the evenings and overnight. For safety, the fire pit must always be attended while in use and fully extinguished afterward. Thank you for helping us respect these guidelines.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but because of the natural mountain setting, you may still notice leaves, pollen, or other outdoor elements—especially in certain seasons. Nature has a way of leaving its mark, no matter how often we tidy up.



We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).



Wi-Fi is available, though due to the remote location, service may occasionally be slower or spotty. We recommend downloading any essential content ahead of time, just in case.
