Welcome to Nellie's Farmhouse! LOCATION is key to this rental. Nestled in farm fields along the South Branch River, Nellies is close to many scenic wonders in the Potomac Highlands, including the famous Trough section of the South Branch of the Potomac River. In the midst of where eagles fly, Nellies boasts scenic farm and mountain views in every direction. This farmhouse vacation rental offers a truly relaxing escape in an unforgettable setting. With 3 bedrooms, including a king, queen, full, and two twin beds, everyone will have a comfortable night's sleep. The beautifully decorated bathroom features a large soaking tub and walk-in shower. The newly renovated kitchen is well equipped for cooking while maintaining its historic charm. There is plenty of meal seating for the whole family with bar stools, a kitchen nook with a view and an adjacent, spacious dining room table overlooking the property's pond. Guests will enjoy outdoor front and back porches with breathtaking farm views. Local photography adorns the walls throughout the house. Enjoy lots of green space, night sounds, beautiful views, birdwatching, farm life, wildlife viewing, night skies, and the simplicity of country life.

Very well appointed, with details like beer glasses in the freezer, hair ties in the bathroom, and extra towels for the hot tub. The hosts were responsive to questions. The water was a bit soft, and the wifi relied on a local cell tower that dropped the signal at times (would recommend bringing Starlink if you have it). But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

A perfect 10/10 experience! Cozy, beautifully designed and decorated farmhouse, incredible views, peaceful and private. Equipped to meet all of our needs and wants—lots of extras! Beautiful bathroom with a big shower AND an even bigger slipper tub, and really comfortable beds. Definitely a home run!

Very nice place off the beaten path. My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful evening. Coming from a farm background myself, I enjoyed the drive through the country and staying in a farmhouse. We both enjoyed the hot tub as well. Old farm house with modern face lift.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had absolutely beautiful views of the mountains, surrounding farmland, cows, and birds—so peaceful and relaxing. The home had everything you could possibly need. A very thoughtful and special touch was the Christmas tree waiting for us when we arrived. The hot tub was fantastic, and the location was perfect—only about 15 minutes from Potomac Eagle. Kelly was very informative and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous property ! The home was very clean , beautifully decorated, and was equipped with anything you might need. Easy for my 95 year old dad to get in and move about . The surrounding property on the farm was idyllic and quiet. We enjoyed the views , the fireplace , and front porch swing. Absolutely loved staying here.

Everything was thought of in the layout of this place. A chair for every window to watch the sunset and sunrise, etc. And it was well maintained! The hot tub was a highlight - lots of available kitchen supplies and games made us want to stay longer in order to use them…especially Appalachian Monopoly. Well done!

We loved the stay as it felt like our home away from home! There's nothing like waking up to a gorgeous view out of every window. The mist rising above the mountains, the deer casually walking by, singing birds, and peaceful pond were something to behold. We appreciated the coffee maker and the variety of coffee pods to choose from. Rooms were tastefully decorated and much care was taken to make this house feel welcoming and comfortable. Our biggest appreciation came from the cleanliness. Everything was tidy, clean, and spotless. The washer and dryer are a nice convenience along with the detergent that was provided. If you fish, the pond has plenty of bluegills. I'd say the only downside is 1 bathroom. But, there were 6 of us! Ha. Kelly was a wonderful host and we would stay again if ever in the area.
