Mökit – Roosevelt Roads

”The house was beautiful but it was way overpriced for how difficult it was to find it and get to it. It also smells terrible there because of the sarragassum. We were notified a couple days in advance of how bad it smelled but you could tell that there was weeks of horribly smelly sarragassum rotting on the beach.”

”Both owners were very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. They recommended several places to visit and activities to try, and also gave us helpful advice on things to be aware of during our stay. The environment was wonderful, and we really enjoyed seeing so many animals around the property. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient, within walking distance of the ferry station. The fresh fruits served at breakfast were also delicious.”

”Loved staying here. It was a guest house that had great amenities- and if we had stayed longer than 24 hours would have loved to take advantage of the pool and everything else. It was however a great place to call home while on Vieques!!”

”Staff members were friendly”

”Cozy”

”The owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. She even gave us a ride when our car wouldn’t start at all, which we really appreciated. She was also very flexible with the time for me to pick up my stored luggage. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and everything was in order. It was also comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.”

”We LOVED Casa De Tortuga! It's quant, and perfectly located. The hotel is just far enough from the Malicon that we didn't get to much noise, but close enough that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go in 5-10 min. Skip is an amazing host and made sure we were taken care of. He was able to give us some very helpful tips that made our stay exceptional. We will definitely be coming back to Vieques and will always stay at Casa de Tortuga.”

”The reception area smelled delicious, the staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortably roomy, easy to rest in. The ocean view was mesmerizing. I truly enjoyed my stay.”
