”I am accustomed to Hilton properties and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel stay. They did not have some of the amenities I normally enjoy at Hilton Properties, but the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.”

”Super cute cottage! Close to South Higgins Lake State Park as well as walking distance to a semi-private dock. We will definitely be back!”

”Amazing vacation! The Main House plus 3 cabins gave ample space & privacy for our group of 20 babies & 4 dogs! The backyard is perfect for campfires & play area for the young ones. Being so close to the public street access was very convenient! Renting a pontoon from Go Fast made the vacation complete!! We’ll be back! Already booked for 2026! Thanks to Jeremy, Cathy & April (plus crew) for making our stay so memorable!”

”We had a nice stay. We had everything we needed for our trip. One suggestion, there's an electrical outlet in the bedroom right off the living room that needs to be replaced as it wouldn't hold a plug in place. Simple to fix which I reported to Jeremy. I would also suggest some new living room furniture to make guests feel more at home as the chair and the couch were not very comfortable. The kitchen had a nice stove and refrigerator. Also, ample counter space. Plenty of dishes and cookware....

”Lots of room, comfortable beds, very clean, alot of outside seating, and very nice burn pit, very close and easy walk to the lake, very quiet neighborhood, made for great early morning and evening walks with our dog, had everything we would have needed in the kitchen, centrally located so was able to visit other cities within 1.5 hour drive, cannot say enough nice things about this cottage”

”Perfect for a girls weekend. There were 8 of us that came together from all over Michigan, Canada and Ohio to spend a weekend celebrating and floating down the Ausable. Having all the rooms upstairs was like being at camp with a huge living room for us all to come together. It was perfect. The wrap around porch and grill were heavily utilized. I would 100% recommend this property for family and friend gatherings. ”

”A friend of mine from college met me up at Higgins Lake and we had a great time. The cottage provided everything we could possibly need except for a K cup coffee maker cause that wasn’t the only coffee we had but it turns out some coffee was in the freezer so we were all set. The weather was perfect for not having an air conditioner, which I had missed seeing that it did not have air conditioning, but it worked out very well because the outside temperature stayed in the low 70s.
