”The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

”Everything was good re the property except the restaurant with non availability. Kippers not available both days, veg pie first day and just served the last gammon and a waiter who couldn’t bring things like vinegar and brown sauce, all in all however a good stay and would return again. Netflix an advantage!”

”We found the Hotel through the reviews on here and we had a fabulous experience. Both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent. Locally sourced, beautifully prepared food. Our hosts were excellent. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.”

Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.”

”I loved the balcony in our room. I have difficulty with walking, and a lift would have been a nice touch. However, the difficulties were overcome, and the staff were extremely good at helping and taking heavy luggage to our rooms. Many thanks. The best policy was to talk to the staff, who were delighted to help in many ways, and they were very good. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will use this hotel again. We have no complaints, only our thanks for an extremely enjoyable time”

”An old but well kept hotel, very unique and lovely! The room was tiny, but it had everything we needed. The location is nice right in center of an very old town. The breakfast was included in the price and it was absolutely amazing! The proportions were huge and so good, we could come back to this hotel only for the breakfast!”

”We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive. ”

”We booked a family room, and fairly last minute. Paid a good price for it. A very friendly welcome, our family room was top of the building, a very warm day you kind of expect a building to get warm, but as we approached our room it got hotter, opened the door, someone had left the heating on in our room, and it was crazy hot. We opened the windows to let the heat out. We found the room neat and tidy, but the decor looking a bit tired, the carpet i think could be deep cleaned, alot of hair on...
