”Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.”

”Excellent Breakfast and good location.”

”The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

”Very good overall but internal corridor security was confusing and could have been better labelled. We had to phone the desk to tell us how to use the security switches in order to get to the restaurant!”

”Rothay Manor was a beautiful and idyllic setting for our Lake District journey. The grounds, rooms, food and spaces were absolutely gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. 10/10 can't wait to return!”

”We had room 310 it where there are some sort of blowers air con also a fire door is left open and the staff use it come come in and out but the hotel is a great place to stop apart from this”

”Fell View is the most lovely get-away cottage. It is perfect for two people! I love where it is, and despite being in the middle of town, it seemed private, and cosy. I wish we could have stayed longer. I could not recommend this cottage highly enough.”

”Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

”Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.”
