”Staff where very friendly, but it was a maze to get to the room, clearer signs need to be put up to direct people to their rooms. Due to warm weather it would have been ideal for the rooms to have A/C”

”The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home.
Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

”I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”

”A lovely little hut in a perfect location. Check out time is 9am so if we were to return, I think it would have to be for a minimum of two nights as 9am is pretty early so we didn’t even have time for breakfast before we had to clean up and check out. Considering the price and the small space, I think a complimentary addition of bits in the fridge would be good. Lots of places I’ve visited for the same price (and less!) on Vrbo have added in fresh bread, butter, orange juice and even Prosecco...

”Very pleasant stay for 1 night attending a business meeting locally. They can use an extra pair of hands behind the bar for the early hours of the evening when there was a bit of a queue. Otherwise couldn't fault the place and will gladly be back again.”
