The Neighborhood:

The Bluebird sits in Koutu, a quiet, mostly-residential lakeside pocket just northwest of central Rotorua, right by Lake Rotorua. It's a peaceful spot with lake views, yet only about 6 minutes from the CBD, with its restaurants, cafés and shops, and close to Rotorua's geothermal parks, cultural experiences and outdoor activities. An easy, central base for exploring the region.



Getting Around:

A car is handy here, with free parking on-site including a garage and driveway. By car, central Rotorua and Skyline are about 6 minutes away, the Polynesian Spa and lakefront around 7, Te Puia about 10, and Rotorua Airport roughly 17.



Other Things to Note:

The Bluebird has lovely views over Lake Rotorua and catches the morning sun - a lovely way to start the day.
