”The room is clean and spacious. But it is outdated and the kitchen plates and mugs are all mismatched. That’s why I gave 4 stars. The lake view is amazing, especially when you sit at the balcony to relax! For the price I paid that I couldn’t ask a better place to stay over a night on the road trip.”

”Beautifully Remodeled, Clean, and Comfortable!
The Derby Inn has been beautifully updated! The rooms are exceptionally clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the large televisions are a nice touch. We also appreciated the secure gated parking, convenient keyless entry, and thoughtful extras like complimentary snacks, bottled water, and coffee.
There is no traditional staffed front desk, but the keyless entry makes coming and going convenient.
The only area that could use some improvement...

”Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would like to know the brand of the mattress was.
. Walk in shower was great. Only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom sink counter was small. No counter space for your toiletries. And the parking was tight.”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. However the property was in need of a lot of repairs. Our door handle was broken. Cracks everywhere and small holes in walls. We killed a roach in our room. Our bedding was super clean and smelled of bleach so that was good. Also there was a bad natural gas smell and caused us to wake up with headaches both days. Will never stay here again.”
