All Saints Church, Rudston, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. All Saints Church is nearly as famous as the Monolith attracting hundreds of visitors each year. It has a 12th Century chancel arch and a Norman tower.

Rudston Monolith, Rudston, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Located next to the village church (All Saints), this is the tallest standing stone in Britain, at just under 8 m in height (not including the buried part which could be the same again). The Stone weighs around 40 Tons and was brought here from over 10 miles away in approximately 1600 BC.

Parish Church, Rudston, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This shows the parish church of All Saints at Rudston, built of stone in the Norman and Decorated styles. The most ancient part of the church is the Early Norman tower, supposedly erected about 1050.

Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.
