The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners

”Fabulous grand manor that’s been updated and converted. Good use of glass for atrium areas that feel warm. They take good pride in their food and for good reason - everything was absolutely delicious and at the highest levels, quite shocking for such a small place. But book your seating right away and early - limited seating. ”

There should be a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo, wash gel, etc.
Could not figure out how to turn on towel warmer.
Upside is the you g lady at the reception desk was very responsive.

”I booked through Expedia and didn't realise that even though it says the hotel has air con. That is only if you book a room with air con. Standard rooms don't have it. Our first roo. Had a meagre fan and smelt bad. However the staff were great and moved us to a room with air con and we were lucky as it was the last one!
But the bathroom was not clean. Had to get people to come and clean the bath which had scummy around it at the bottom and the room door was broken and the top.

Cracked walls, lights that didn’t work, and an incredibly creaky floor. I really felt for anyone underneath us.

”Beautiful and spotless hotel and rooms. 5* however, we had paid for full breakfast on both days. First days brilliant, second day not so. Waitress not very welcoming then said sorry no cooked breakfast. Issue in kitchen so only continental available. It’s not our fault and nothing we can do.
There were no croissants or fresh bread to cut, just slices. One of the toasters had a notice saying only use left side and only two strawberry yoghurts were left. I had to ask for tea on three...

”This wasn’t our favorite stay.
•Broken lift
•Leaking toilet
•Gurgling sink
•pullout bed a health hazard for a child where the metal arms are.
•musty smell from air conditioning unit.
On the plus side breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. We didn’t ask to switch room as after lugging all our luggage and pram, two children upstairs didn’t have the energy and also had a feeling all the rooms would be similar. We wouldn’t return to this hotel.”
