”The room we were given had a smoke smell but we we soon given another room that was fine. Everything worked well. Breakfast ok -- except for the all-too-common plastic cutlery and plates -- not ecological. ”

”John was great! Definitely a pleasure to meet him. He helped me get settled while being overwhelmed due to the death of my father approaching. It’s nice to meet people that really care!”

”Overall my stay was OK. Upon arrival I was not able to check in on time because my room was not available due to hotel being reserved to capacity, which caused me to have a 1 hr delay in check in. The hotel receptionist (Urania)was somewhat pleasant however, made some remarks that my particular room wasn’t ready because I had to wait for a handicap room, I stated I did not book a handicap room. Then, she stated that since I booked via Expedia that, I have the cheapest room, so I had to wait for...

”The property was dirty… under the bed had trash, the blinds were coated in dirt, the bathroom definitely needs upgraded as well. The shower dripped the entire time.”

”This resort had everything you would need that was kid, friendly pool, food and history, all in one.”

”Owner Jay is very nice and easy to work with. The location is fantastic! This hotel is pet friendly so that's a bonus in our book! Bed was comfortable, only drawback is bathroom is small with not much space for your toiletries but it certainly isn't a deal breaker. Very clean room. We stayed in a king room. I'd definitely book here again next time we're visiting the area.”

”Nothing I like it was very dirty and smell in the hallway and room I will not recommend any one to come”

”Staff friendly. Breakfast very good although not included. Many amenities for kids next to Busch Gardens. Bed nice, however ceilings and carpet not clean and dilapidated. I had very limited options to cancel second day; would have been reimbursed very small amount;That was unacceptable. Probably more options if had booked through hotel. Did not see a phone number on Expedia to call directly.”

”Overall the property was fine and staff was friendly. The breakfast options were doable if you are the traveling with a family and need some simple choices. If you are expecting more, you may do better going out. There were some places that could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly but not to the point of disgust. Also, coffee and tea were available 24hrs and the sit down space was comfy. This is my second time staying since 2023.”

”Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!”

”Very outdated. Hall carpet dirty and stained. Room walls cracked, bathroom lacking towel rods. Toilet and sink clogging. No hair dryer (,as advertised). Not worth what was charged. Not a repeat.”
