”Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”

”Nice one! Great room with a king size bed, spotless clean, spacious and cosy. The only minus was the extremely strong smell of washing detergent in the bed linen - this hotel is not suitable for allergic people!! Our clothes smelled like the washing detergent for days later... "Traditional and homely accommodation, just what we were looking for as a place for our family to stay. The location was excellent. The services of the city centre were close by, but the hotel was located on a beautiful street in a quiet environment. The rooms were charming, one of which we used was particularly functional and comfortable. A very good traditional English breakfast, complemented by berries and yoghurt. I couldn't have asked for anything more for breakfast or from the hotel. I can warmly recommend it."
