”The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. ”We loved our stay. The location is fantastic and for us with children being opposite the playground as well as such a short walk into town was great. Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. The main living space is really well equipped with loads of kitchen stuff, sharp knives, comfy sofas and a great selection of books and games. The beds are comfortable and shower is a good pressure. ”4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. ”Beautiful accommodation, with lovely vaulted ceiling making it bright and airy High quality finishes all round Kitchen has everything you need and a bottle of milk waiting in the fridge was a lovely touch Tea bags, coffee pods, crisps and biscuits also provided Bed was comfortable and high quality bedding Lovely big fluffy towels and M&S toiletries provided.
