”Stayed overnight as I was going to theatre. Hotel is in a great location in centre of town, and only a 5 minute walk to the Theatre Royal. Very clean and spacious room with en suite containing both a bath and shower. Well equipped room containing safe and fridge as well as usual tv etc. Good quality (Ringtons) tea selection on refreshment tray which included breakfast tea as well as earl grey, peppermint, lemon, etc alongside Ringtons biscuits, hot chocolate and coffee. Great nights sleep on...

”It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”

”Worst hotel ever in Europe. And yes, in this case I include Russia in Europe. Room stank like years of smoking, bathroom like piss. Piss stains on the toilet seat, whole rainbow of different coloured stains on all of the towels and bedding. Noisy and a spot light pointing at the window. Arrogant and unhelpful older woman at the reception (this one was definetly no lady). Avoid if you're travelling alone, can't say anything about the bigger rooms, but assume the worst.”
