”Very nicely furnished room, well equipped with everything I needed and a few things I didn't. Air conditioning was a bonus in the current heat wave. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Plus it is very convenient for Duxford IWM.”

”Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression ! Thank you and congratulations to your staff Matt our stay with you was wonderful. ”We arrived at about 730pm and were greeted by a very sweet receptionist. Our room was clean and quiet, with an incredibly comfortable king size bed! As it was summer, we were also provided a portable fan in the room, should it become too warm. We had a great dinner at the Feathers Pub and a swift check out in the morning. Highly recommend staying here!”

”The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. ”

”Thankful for the fan in a heatwave. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast. Bedroom carpet badly stained. Shower had a lot of mould in it . Loo flush was not attached to the wall.”

”Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. ”Our rooms looked nothing like the photo’s on here. The carpets had huge stains on them and the furniture was dated and beat up. Our window would not open and the frame was rotting. Our bathroom was dark and the shower would sporadically turn burning hot to freezing cold. The women’s toilets in the bar area had multiple out of order signs on the doors and the one I was able to use had a huge hole in the wall where tiles were missing and broken. ”Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”

”Staffs were helpful and the restaurant offered varied menu to suit a range of preference. Bonus was the onside free parking.”
