”The property is older but well maintained. The staff works to overcome the property’s shortfalls.”

”Nice room, nice staff, comfortable beds, decent size refrigerator with a freezer. The breakfast was not to my liking; not too much healthy options. The scrambled eggs were rubbery, the "sausage" was kielbasi, 3 dry cereals, all sweet, of course, sweet pastries; no yogurt, fruit was only apples and they did not look so good. The only good thing was the orange juice, which was not watery like so many others.”

”The staff were very nice the room was clean but a little small it didn’t have a microwave or a fridge and it stayed a little cool after I raised the temperature but for the price it was well worth it.”

”This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve been to in Fairmont. I’ve never been to West Virginia in general, but most of the party that stayed for a wedding in Mannington stayed here. It was a great time and breakfast was amazing!”

”Everything worked as it should; I would be happy to stay here again. No TCM, but I enjoyed the HBO offering on the TV.”

”good experience”

”Lovely renovated room. Really enjoyable. Not cookie cutter. Parking wasn’t great, but you’ll have that downtown. Beautiful historic hotel with friendly staff. I’ll definitely stay again.”

”The room was perfectly clean. The shower door had no streaks. We had brunch during our stay, and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for parking, which is totally uncool. The staff was nice overall, but they entered the room when we didn't want them to.”

”Decent place, clean comfortable bed, good waffles.”
