”We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared.”

”This hotel offers decent value for money. Room was spacious, bed was ok and the bathroom clean. Plenty of parking available. The area this hotel is in doesn't seem super nice and as far as I know had limited food options especially later in the day. ”

”STAY AWAY!! They gave us a key from an occupied room! We literally walked in on someone! When we asked for another room they told us no rooms are available. Other person told us the same thing happened to them and he is trying to get a room for the past 2 hours. On top of that we DID NOT get a refund!!! Yes, we did NOT get a refund! The hotel smelled bad and the doors looked like someone was beating them and they can be opened very easily.”

”This property was well managed and very clean. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. In a good area with restaurant options as well.”

”We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.”

”All the staff (regardless of what time of day you interacted with them) were very pleasant and got along with one another. The longevity of their time working for The Super 8 in Dunbar is a testament to how they’re treated by management. I stayed at the other 2 hotels in Dunbar and the owner has a big turnover of staff. If you like black mold and questionable bookkeeping (ie., billing inflated) don’t reserve at the Super 8. If you like clean rooms and honest billing then the Super 8 is the place...

”The TV channels and reception were terrible. All analog. There were lower channels that looked like they were working off a set of Tin Foil antennas. Really need to fix this.”

”Very clean, very helpful, close to everything. Its a utilitarian place so not a lot of amenities but worked very very well for our stay. Safe area.”
