”The cleanliness of this hotel was superb and the staff extremely helpful and all were infinitely polite. The breakfast was delicious and such a varied selection to suit all tastes. The services on offer and the facilities were easy to navigate and it’s in a prime location. ”

”We had a fantastic stay. Room was spacious and comfy. Constructive critisim would be when cleaning don't forget the shower seals as this was quite grimey. An under counter fridge would have been a fantastic touch as we went to the shop each night to buy tea due to food intolerance. I did report the bathroom door also as being difficult to open and close. I did get stuck in there one evening so luckily husband was there to let me out lol. ”

”This is such a lovely place to stay when visiting Normandy. It is really central to the D-Day beaches. The rooms are quiet and well appointed Daily breakfast is exceptional and plentiful, you will be ready to set off and explore the area! We look forward to coming again! Thank you!”

”We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”

”Stayed one night in June 2024 on vacation. A beautiful and carefully restored manor with gorgeous rooms. Spacious room with a big comfortable kingsize bed. Separate toilet and a bathroom. Nice view to the garden. Very quiet and peaceful location. The hotel restaurant was not open for dinner but the staff was very friendly to suggest options nearby and help with a reservation. Excellent, luxorious breakfast with a large selection in a buffet as well as some made-to-order items. Very friendly...

”Poor place. They gave wrong room type, I paid for apartment with double bed and there was not that. Aparment was very cold because somebody left door open and inside was same temperature like outside. Door was open because lock did not worked. Reception was closed and nobody answered to phone so there was not possible to get right apartment. Inside was also smell of urea. ”

”Wenn man das Memorial von Cean besuchen möchte, hat das Hotel eine super Lage, man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß dort. Für die Altstadt ist man ca 40 Minuten zu Fuß unterwegs. Einen Supermarkt mit großer Auswahl kann man in gut 10 Minuten erreichen. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, es gibt eine Bar mit freundlichem Personal und einen Pool. Die Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel sind super, insgesamt war ich hier zufrieden.”

”Chateau d'Audrieu is truly an exceptional property. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. We highly recommend staying at Chateau d'Audrieu!”

”Un bel établissement à proximité de Clécy, au grand calme, un endroit en pleine campagne, très reposant. Une grande chambre avec une très bonne literie avec tout le confort. La cuisine est également de bon niveau, sans oublier le petit-déjeuner où rien ne manque. Cerise sur le gâteau, le personnel et la propriétaire sont éminemment sympathiques et accueillants. Petit plus pour les golfeurs, un parcours pas du tout facile mais ô combien agréable, en pleine nature. Nous recommandons...
