”Much better than last time I stayed, Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay. Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working.”

What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. ”Like the location, easy to get around the costwolds. The staff were nice and polite. Didn’t like the bed at all! 2 nights of bad sleep. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The door to our room was very difficult to secure, the lock not working properly. Continental breakfast was good and plenty of choices.”

”Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.”
