Little house in the heart of Sala Comacina (WILLOW HOUSE)

Spread over two levels, the first floor features a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, fireplace, and a comfortable sofa bed, all framed by terracotta floors and exposed wooden beam ceilings. (Please note: The sofa bed is not prepared prior to your arrival, as we believe it is more practical to use it as a sofa during the day. You will find sheets, pillows, and blankets in the cabinet/shelf closest to the sofa.)

A concrete and stone staircase leads to the second floor, where you’ll find a spacious double bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom with a shower.



The accommodation does not have a private parking space, and public parking in the surrounding area is limited.



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.



Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Guests have the access of the whole apartment.

Just a few steps from Willow House, you’ll find Max’s Bar and Amalia Ostinelli, a small grocery store with a bakery, perfect for daily necessities. One of the highlights of the apartment is undoubtedly its privileged location in the village of Sala Comacina, directly facing the iconic Isola Comacina, which becomes especially lively during the summer season and is famous for the San Giovanni Fireworks Show.

About a 5-minute walk from the property, you can access the Greenway del Lago di Como, a charming panoramic route suitable for all, winding through picturesque villages, historic villas, and breathtaking lake views. The trail spans over 10 km, divided into 7 stages, starting from Colonno and ending in Griante.

For those wishing to experience the lake from the water, you can rent boats or join organized tours from the village's small port, discovering hidden coves and admiring the landscape from a unique perspective. Alternatively, within a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Sala Comacina ferry stop, offering convenient connections to the main towns around the lake.

Nearby attractions also include the scenic lakeside promenade of Lenno and the famous Villa del Balbianello, one of the most iconic historic villas on Lake Como. A little further north, you can visit Tremezzo and the splendid Villa Carlotta, renowned for its beautiful Botanical Garden, a must-see for nature and history enthusiasts.



How to get there:

By car: From the A9 motorway, take the “Lago di Como” exit and continue on the SS340 ("Via Regina Nuova") until you reach Sala Comacina. Set your GPS, and you’ll reach the property in about 2 minutes.

By train: From the train stations Como Lago or Como S. Giovanni, take the C10 bus towards Menaggio and get off at the Sala Comacina - San Rocco stop, located about 100 meters from the apartment.
