”Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. One of the ladies saved the day by getting us a cab to Southampton in time for our cruise. We were going to Uber and found out there are no Ubers in Salisbury. Do not know her name but we are eternally grateful. ”

”Stayed just one night, also had drinks at the pub, easy access to Sherborne town centre, wheres plenty of shops, bars, cafes,Restaurants. Free parking if you are staying in hotel, for 24 hours. Register your car at reception. Had bath&shower which im happy to have. Clean,and very white bedding and towels, hangers, tea making facilities. . Comfortable bed. Staff i came into contact with were very nice. Would stay again next time im visiting friends in Sherborne. ”

”Mukava vanhan ajan majatalo, joka sopi sijainniltaan hyvin yöpymispaikaksi matkalla kanaalisaarille (n. 10 min kävelyn päässä Poolen satamasta). Huoneessa ei muuta moittimista kuin vanhanaikaiset ikkunat, joiden äänieristys oli olematon ja jo loppukesän yönä huone oli melko viileä. Korvatulpat takasivat silti rauhalliset unet. Aamupala hyvä brittiaamiainen ja henkilökunta niin respassa kuin aamupalalla oli kohteliasta.”

”Suitable location for a country tour. THe Place seems to be a center for locals to gather for a meal and a pint. All in all decent but we had a crappy room built for midgets in the attic. The housekeeping should vacuum more than once a week I think. The carpets were filthy. Efficient professional service level by the staff.”

”Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...

”Location was perfect, easy to get everywhere. And we loved our small kitchen, it was handy and there was everything you could imagine to need. Althaugh the room could have been cleaner. There was a bit dust and crumbs everywhere, as if the room had not been vacuumed at all. Also air conditioning was surprisingly noisy, the whole room was resonating, so it didn't help to switch it off. But overall it was a ok stay in a good price.”
