”Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. ”

”Spacious, well equipped, clean and within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It worked perfectly for our party of 4 adults. We were prepared for the stairs up to the second floor so considered it as training! We had lots of kit for walking, running and swimming, so shelves/ drawers in the bedrooms wouldn’t have gone amiss and a few hooks for towels/coats would have been useful but there was plenty of floor space for all our stuff. ”Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
