”The staff might just be the friendliest in Great Britain. It made the stay a delight and we used the great conservatory space to watch a Christmas movie with our little one. Great food and great beer/wine. You need a car to access all the local things (Runswick Bay/Whitby/Scarborough/Moors) but we will come back each year as we love it. ”

”We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre.
The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels.
We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights.
We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge.
Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel .
Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you...

”The room was spotless, modern and spacious. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food excellent, with a very good choice for evening meal and breakfast, as well as the food being piping hot.”
