”Perfect place to stop over prior to ferry or Chunnel crossing. Not too far to walk into town although it’s uphill all the way back. Friendly staff and very welcoming.”

”My wife and I had a great experience. From the time we arrived and found a parking space for our car, until the time we drove out was amazing. Staff were courteous, friendly and very efficient. Food was fabulous. Room was well laid out, stocked and comfortable. Our stay at the Mermaid Inn enhanced our visit to beautiful Rye. Thank you.”

”This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room...
