Hotel Boavista - Vintage House
It is a 1000 year old building, the host treated us wonderfully and we had a great chat in the bar. Much different than all the corporate owned hotels we stayed earlier in the week. There is a thermo springs a few blocks away.

Casas da Villa- Monsanto
Very spacious and so unique. Very accommodating and friendly. The fresh bread delivered in the morning was a nice touch.

Beautiful cottage, very clean, big enough for 2 people, c/w pull-out sofabed if required. Walking distance to local town ~15mins, all uphill. You have to drive to Monsanto though, another 10 mins away. The driveway to this cottage is very, very narrow - you can only drive 1 vehicle at a time, not ...
