”We enjoyed the quiet, natural setting and pretty views of the lake. We had one non-rain day and took the kayaks out which was lots of fun. Easy to go back and forth to Bellingham. Kitchen was pretty limited for full on meals but perfect for breakfast and coffee.”

”Super clean, super convenient to our needs. Second floor; pretty quiet. Host responsive and clear in communication. Very close to downtown business district, shops, restaurants, etc. Two large bedrooms w good light and comfortable beds--we two guys each had one--kitchen-entry-sitting room combined; and a good bathroom. Standard amenities. Two parking spots available (we had two cars). Close on/off I-5 north and south. Just what we wanted at the right price.”

”We came into town to catch the tulips. The home was very close and convenient to the tulip farms, Mount Vernon and La Conner. The home had ample parking, was very clean and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and cozy. The only imperfection was the poor soundproofing between our unit and the one above. We've lived in apartments in crowded cities, so it didn't bother us.”

”This was an awesome choice and a very calm and relaxing area. It is a large piece of property and our pet had room to go out and run around a bit in the morning. Very clean and cozy room and the only suggestion I have is that a few hangers are put on the hanging rack and something to light the lovely candle that was sitting there. Loved this place and plan on going back in the future. Great host and easy to communicate.”

”Very cute inside, new and clean, had everything we needed- beautiful country farmland all around, backed to railroad tracks, frontage road and 5 freeway, with earplugs at night it was fine. The heater heated the place very well, the 2 types of heating, was a bit confusing at first but we didn’t ask for better instructions, so probably our fault we didn’t ask properly host help…. Took til 3rd day to figure it out but We were mostly only there at night. Main thing was felt like not enough...

”Wonderful hostess, unit nicely furnished and as advertised fantastic views of Bellingham Bay. However, unit is located about 150 feet from and overlooking a very busy Railroad Crossing where BNSF and AmTrak cross daily and nightly. BNSF horn blasts are very uncomfortable. The listing failed to mention this unpleasant hazard that starts at 2:15AM and occurs over a dozen times into the late evening. It is unbearable. Hostess was apologetic and we hope she and her neighbors are successful in...
