”Awesome in all but one way. We walked back to the hotel hoping to get a drink (or two) at the bar and drink them on the rooftop (which is AWESOME!) But the bar was closed because the bartender “didn’t show. This was a HOT Saturday night. So we chose to sit on the rooftop drinkless. A little disappointing.”

The window panels are made of wood and seemed like the original windows from the original constriction of the building. Because of the centralized location of the hotel in Old San Juan, foot traffic was a lot. It was very, very loud at night up until 3:00 am every night, and construction in the early morning too. Allergialääkkeillä selvisimme, mutta huoneessamme H2 oli kyllä vahva homeen haju. Se harmitti, koska muuten koko hotellin kokonaisuus...

The only surprise was that our room, which was really big and good as such, didn’t have a window! It was like an interior room in the middle of the hotel building and hence couldn’t have a window, but still it would have been good to see that info in the room description when booking the room. :-)
In addition, we got a connected room - I usually write a special request ’no connecting room’ but this time I forgot it - and the doors between the rooms let sound...

After the third attempt, I spoke Spanish and she took my call. Other than the front desk lady the hotel is really clean and does not get humid like the others. I highly recommend the hotel.”

”The stay was great. The people around there are super friendly. There are some bars right across the street and even restaurants within a 2 min walk. Our apartment had roof access and it made the stay even better than it already was. There is also a 24 hour gas station that’s only a 5 min walk away. Tourist areas are very close by and the Ubers are only around $4. Not the best if you want beach vacation as it is an uber away. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.”
