Mission Bay Studio Retreat

This newly constructed studio is completely furnished. There is a king-sized bed; a meal prep counter complete with a hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and fresh coffee, and spacious fridge; an in-unit washer/dryer; a full bathroom with walk in shower; a mini-split with AC and heat; a smart TV and high speed wifi (that works well enough to take a Zoom meeting on the patio, which has a fridge stocked with drinks).

This is a guest suite that is part of a larger home. The suite is self-contained with a separate entrance and totally private and separate from the main home. Also, there is a weightlifting rack and equipment on the property (please let us know in advance if you`d like to use it!).

This is a private studio connected to a single family home, with it`s own private entrance. The patio and outside areas are shared with the other studio on the property as well as the on-site host who resides upstairs.

This home is located in a safe, friendly and family-oriented neighborhood. You may find yourself invited to join the owner and neighbors for a Friday night neighborhood cookout (feel free to say no) or impromptu Taco Tuesday on the patio. On any given Saturday, you will probably see kids and dogs running past the house - if you`ve got a kiddo (or a dog), they will be invited to join!

We always recommend a car to get around San Diego, but we are a just quick 5-10 minute walk to the Balboa Dr. trolley station if you wish to use transit during your visit and Uber/Lyft are also very convenient in San Diego. This unit has a parking space assigned to it off the alley to the rear of the property.

This studio is powered by green, solar energy.


Want to workout while you`re in town? We have everything you need in a fully stocked home gym including: squat/bench/pull-up rig, men`s bar (20 kg), women`s bar (15 kg), training bar (7 kg), bumper plates (5 - 45 pounds), jump ropes, box, bosu ball, training bands, mats, slam ball and wall ball.
Important notes/house rules:
-Quiet Hours: 10pm-6am (weekdays); 11pm-6am (weekends).
-Absolutely no parties or gatherings are permitted at our properties--being overly disruptive to neighbors will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of any monies paid (including your refundable deposit).
- There is no smoking permitted at any of properties.
- Please treat our properties and, more importantly, our neighborhoods as you treat your own. Keep San Diego vacation rentals vibrant and thriving!
