”I spent a lovely week with my dog at this adorable 1BR cottage in Old Town San Diego. Check in was easy, and the place was very well supplied with everything from plastic bags to cooking equipment to a flashlight. The little long patio outside was great for throwing the ball for my dog, or just sitting to enjoy morning coffee. Joan was very accommodating to requests, and even brought over a basket of dog toys and a jar of treats for my pup when we arrived! Whether I spent the day lazing around...

”The Good: Comfortable Beds: The beds allowed for restful sleep. Entertainment Options: TVs equipped with Roku for streaming, though initially unplugged. The Bad: Ant Infestation: Ants were present throughout the kitchen, made harder to notice due to dim lighting. Cluttered Space: The house felt like a personal storage area, filled with the owner's odds and ends. Thermostat Issues: Inefficient settings caused the house to overheat, wasting energy. ”Perfect little zen oasis! 10 out of 10! First, Jacqueline was so wonderful, kind and responsive. Such a joy communicating with her. A perfect little home tucked in a great spot so close to everything! The yard is straight out of a fairytale and the hot tub was perfect after a long day walking around at the zoo. We will be back for sure. It doesnt help that our styles are very similar, so I felt extra at home! Such an inviting space. A must stay!”

”The check in process was a breeze. The directions the host sent us included the check in process, the WiFi password, and instructions on what was included with the rental. The location is very quiet, even though there are major highways nearby. The access to the highways was something that attracted us to the property, because we knew we would make several day trips from there. ”This property’s location and accommodations were perfect for my husband and me. There’s a well appointed kitchen and an open concept living/dining room downstairs. Upstairs has two bedrooms with comfortable beds and a bathroom with plenty of hot water. It’s located near all that we valued. Our host was very responsive and gracious. All in all, it was a great stay. Five stars for sure. ”

”Very nice back yard casita. Very quiet neighborhood. We didn't have any contact with the owners in the front home. The front of this casita faces the rear living room of the main home which felt somewhat awkward going to and from, but we weren't there much anyway and just used it to sleep in. Everything was as it appeared in the photos except the bed is not a pull down but standard comfortable queen size bed. Both homes and yards appear to maybe recently be redone and its easily the nicest home...
